The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) its pleased to inform you that  India International Leather Fair 2012, the only leather fair  event of its kind in India, will be held from February 01 -03, 2012 at Chennai Trade Centre (Hall No. 1-3), Chennai. The inauguration will be held on Jan 31, 2012 at 6.00 pm.  Since its inception in 1985, the event has emerged as an ideal forum for presenting multi-facetted splendor of the Indian leather industry and is rated as the largest and best attended leather event in the South Asian sub-continent providing value for money to both buyers and sellers across the globe. Last year, the Show attracted over 20,000 buyers including, about 1600 overseas buyers.

This year, about 400 companies from the Finished Leather, Footwear & Components, Leather Garments/goods, fashion  accessories, machinery & equipment and Chemical  sectors of the leather industry will participate.  International participation is expected to be from over 175 companies from 25 countries They include leaders of the Indian leather industry, who are not only household names in India but at the international map also. Display category would include All kinds of Finished leather, Shoes, Shoe Components-Uppers, Soles, Heels, Counters, Lasts; Leather Garments; Fashion Accessories; Leather Goods-Travel Ware, Belts, Gloves, Portfolios, Hand Bags and Wallets; Saddlery and Harness; Machinery and Equipment; Chemicals; Publications and Consultancy Services,  theme pavilion, Designers' Gallery, Launching Pad, etc.

"India International Leather Fair 2012 will be held in Chennai Trade Centre, the concurrent activities planned alongwith the trade event are Seminars, Conferences, Fashion Shows. The display will cover about an area of 10,000 sq. mtrs from Hall Nos. 1 to 3 showcasing the all kinds of leather, leather garments, shoes /goods, machinery, components, chemicals  through over 400 national and overseas companies.  IILF being the  biggest leather exposition in India would provide the buyers a one-stop-shop for all their requirements."

27th in the series, the India International Leather Fair 2012 Fair will serve as a one-stop sourcing option for buyers looking for quality products at competitive price and expand established trade links.
