The seeds for India International Leather Fair were sown and nurtured at CSIR-CLRI before ITPO was entrusted with its care. CSIR-CLRI has been partnering with ITPO since then.

CSIR-CLRI has emerged as the world’s largest and most empowered leather research institute and is working in tandem with the Indian Leather Sector for its growth.

It was but apt for ITPO, CSIR-CLRI and the Indian Leather Sector to join hands and ‘showcase’ a “Trends & Technology Pavilion” to the Global Leather Fraternity that would be meeting during 28-30 July 2011 for the 1st edition of India International Leather Fair in Hall 18, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

To capture the spirit and essence of IILF and the ‘Trends & Technology Showcase,’ NEW ORIENTATION – a Newsletter will update on the new technologies in Leather & Leather Products manufacturing; while the Trends Showcase will bedazzle the Trends in Leathers & Colours for the Autumn Winter 12/ 13 season

ITPO, CSIR-CLRI endeavours to walk hand in hand with the Indian Leather Sector in the journey of making IILF-New Delhi, a meaningful exposition for the discerning.

On display will be the following topical presentations at this exposition.
